<li>Cutting down on starchy, sugary food will reduce the amount of plaque produced in the mouth, which will help to reduce dental decay. Nutrigrains and cereal bars are a good alternative.</li>

<li>Vitamin C promotes healthy teeth and gums, and aids iron absorption – oranges and grapefruit are particularly good.</li>
